New sustainability classification replaces the Nordic ecolabel (Svanen) in the SEB Fund 3 – SEB Sweden Equity Fund

The new EU regulations, Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), which came into effect in March 2021, regulate the reporting of funds' sustainability work. As this covers all SEB Investment Management's funds, the separate “Svanen” Nordic ecolabel that was included in the SEB Fund 3 – SEB Sweden Equity Fund will be removed.

Through the new regulations, the sustainability report is completed in a uniform manner and the funds are classified based on their ambition in sustainability. SEB Fund 3 – SEB Sweden Equity Fund is classified as a light green fund. The management and holdings of the fund will not be affected. The “Svanen” Nordic ecolabel will be removed on 2 May 2022.

Sustainability classification

Light green funds: Funds that promote environmental or social characteristics
Dark green funds: Funds that target sustainable investments
Other funds: Funds that are neither classified as dark green nor light green
