SEB Asset Management S.A. has decided to suspend trading for the fund, SEB European Equity Small Caps, for valuation 24 June 2016 as calculated today, 27 June 2016. We are suspending the fund for trading in the best interest of the investors. Any subscriptions or redemptions will be performed with one day’s delay.
The fund has a substantial exposure to the Swedish market. Due to the midsummer holiday 24 June, the Swedish stock exchange was closed while, at the same time, the European stock markets experienced a substantial drop in reaction to the “Brexit” outcome of the British referendum.
Since we do not have reliable prices for the part of the fund exposed to Sweden, we see a risk for incorrect valuation of the fund.
