We at SEB Investment Management have decided to merge SEB Fund 4 - SEB Short Bond Fund EUR with SEB Fund 5 - SEB Euro Short Rate Fund. The merger will be effective as of 10 November 2023.

We wish to merge the two funds to sharpen SEB Investment Management AB’s selection of funds offered and to make fund management more efficient.

How the merger affects investors

SEB Euro Short Rate Fund is the receiving sub-fund in this merger. SEB Short Rate Fund EUR is the merging sub-fund and will cease to exist once the merger is complete. Investors’ units in the merging sub-fund will transfer to the receiving fund, and the investor will become a unitholder in the SEB Fund 5 – SEB Euro Short Rate Fund after the merger is completed.

Investors are not required to act, as the merger will not have any effect on the customer or the value of their fund units, but investors should be familiar with the merger. The receiving fund will continue to follow the same investment objective and strategy as previously.
