Servicing large corporations for more than 160 years
Corporations & Institutions
With SEB you get the financial strength of one of the world's most solid banks, combined with the flexibility and service-mindedness of a true relationship bank.
We are a leading banking group in Northern Europe, with more than 160 years' experience of building lasting relationships with our customers. As a strategic financial partner, we advise large companies, institutional clients and investors. All in all, we have a local presence in 20 countries.
As an underwriter of green bonds, SEB is a pioneer and an international thought leader. When the World Bank issued its first green bond back in 2008, this was done together with us. Our overall position in the field of sustainable financing is strong.
In Luxembourg, we provide corporations and institutions from SEB's home markets with a wide range of services, including custody and transaction processing. We also provide depositary bank services to Luxembourg based investment funds.
SEB serves some 2,000 large corporations across a broad spectrum of industries − among them several global market leaders.
In the Nordic region, our customers are among the largest in their respective industries. In Germany and the UK, medium to large-sized companies with an international profile are our primary focus. We have enduring and uniquely strong relationships with many corporate customers − supporting them in their everyday business, through international expansion as well as challenging times.
SEB serves approximately 1,100 financial institutions and acts as an intermediary between Nordic and global financial markets.
We offer our services to pension funds, asset managers, hedge funds, insurance companies and state-owned investment funds as well as other banks and SSAs (sovereigns, supranationals and agencies). We have a leading position in the Nordics and also serve customers internationally with capital market access, custody services and advice on capital, sustainability and asset management matters.
