On 16 November, the Private Banking Prüfinstanz (publisher FUCHSBRIEFE and Dr. Richter | IQF) issued the results of their recent market test “TOPs 2016: Transfer wealth. Protect wealth.” A total of 89 participants from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg made it into the test field of the market test, and Private Banking at SEB in Luxemburg took first place.

In the evaluated categories consultation, wealth strategy and transparency, SEB was awarded “very good”. In the category portfolio quality SEB was graded “good”. Thus SEB achieved the highest score among the participants and is number one among the top wealth managers 2016.

The statement from the jury reads: "At SEB, the customer will be advised in a 'knowledgeable way'. SEB takes the wishes of the customer seriously. We hope that every customer receives this kind of individual treatment. Chapeau!" Finally, the jury concludes: „That’s how a TOP Provider 2016 and a worthy Number 1 in this test should present itself.”

With this year’s result SEB joins the “Eternal Ranking of the Best” as Number 5 on the list. As a winner of the market test for 2014 and now again for 2016, SEB has proven that it permanently belongs to the top providers.

Rolf Fus, Deputy Head of Private Banking SEB: “This is a fantastic result, and we are very pleased – not only for SEB, but most of all for our clients. It is continuing evidence that at SEB the client comes first. Moreover, it is in line with our own standards “to deliver world-class service for our customers".
